FAQ's

How do I register for lessons?

Please call our office at (262) 241-5332. We can check teacher schedules to match up times that work for you. A registration form and invoice will be sent to you. You may bring them with you to the first lesson or mail them back ahead of time.

Music School Office hours:
Monday - Thursday 8am to 4:45pm
Friday 8am to 3:30pm

Do you teach adult students?

Yes, all of our teachers have experience teaching adults of all ages. Music is carefully selected to appeal to the adult student. Lessons can be tailored for special interests or goals.

Is my child old enough to start lessons?

Most students begin lessons at 6 years or older.
Some children successfully start lessons at 5 years old (or younger) but they must know the alphabet, be able to count to 5 and have a long enough attention span. Students this young usually begin with a 15 minute lesson rather than the usual 30 minutes.

What times are available for lessons?

The school is open weekday afternoons and evenings and Saturday mornings and early afternoons. Morning lessons are available on select weekdays. Please contact our office as availability can change.

What are the options for matching students with teachers?

At Schaum Music School, we know that the student-teacher relationship is important to success. We do our best to match students with a teacher who will help each student attain his or her performance goals.

Please see our STAFF page for photos and biographies of all of our teachers.
